Once the certificate attestation is done by the notary, it is attested by the Home Department or General Administrative Department (GAD) or Regional Attestation Center (RAC). Once the home department is satisfied, the documents is further attested by the MEA. 

Apostille from MEA, Govt. of India

After the Experience Certificate Attestation from the Home Department is completed, it will be Apostilled from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India. The Apostille attestation from MEA is the final stage in the attestation from the home country. The Ministry of External Affairs is the regulatory authority of Experience Certificate Apostille.
